CIVIL STATUS

ADMINISTRATIVE INFORMATION

 

  1. MARRIAGE AUTORISATION
  2. An application bearing a physical stamp, addressed to the Ambassador of Cameroon in Moscow.
  3. The original of the Single Status Certificate, as well as the Non Opposition Certificate issued by the mayor of the locality in which the applicant was born, subsequent to a one month publication of the marriage announcement; all of these, certified at the Ministry of External Relations in Yaoundé, or its annex in Douala.
  4. Photocopy of the passports of the husband and wife to be.
  5. Resident permit or equivalent document justifying applicants have a regular stay in their host country.

NB: In case applicants are both of Cameroonian Nationality, the above conditions will apply to each of them separately.

 

  1. LEGALISATION OF THE SINGLE STATUS CERTIFICATE
    • An application bearing a physical stamp, addressed to the Ambassador of Cameroon in Moscow.
    • The original of the Single Status Certificate issued by the mayor of the locality in which the applicant was born and certified at the Ministry of External Relations in Yaoundé, or its annex in Douala.

 

   III)         MARRIAGE CELEBRATION AT THE EMBASSAY

  • An application bearing a physical stamp, addressed to the Ambassador of Cameroon in Moscow.
  • The original of the Single Status Certificate, as well as the Non Opposition Certificate issued by the mayor of the locality in which the applicant was born, subsequent to a one month publication of the marriage announcement; all of these, certified at the Ministry of External Relations in Yaoundé, or its annex in Douala.
  • Photocopy of the passports of the husband and wife to be.
  • Resident permit or equivalent document justifying applicants have a regular stay in their host country.
  • If the one of the applicants is of Russian nationality, he or she should submit a photocopy of the National Passport, containing specific information on the marriage status and/ or a divorce certificate, translated in French or English by an authorized translator.
  • For an applicant who is of foreign other nationality other than Russian, the or she will need to submit an Authorization for Marriage issued by a competent authority and duly legalized at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of applicants country of origin, or at the Embassy in the Russian Federation.
  • 3 photos 4x4 per person.

 

NB: The marriage celebration can take place only 30 days after the above formalities have been fulfilled.

 

 

IV)             AN ATTESTATION OF NON OPPOSITION TO THE   

             RENOUNCIATION OF THE CAMEROONIAN NATIONALITY

  • An application bearing a physical stamp, addressed to the Ambassador of Cameroon in Moscow.
  • A declaration of the renunciation of the Cameroonian Nationality with power of attorney, clearly stating applicant’s parental background and translated in English or French by an authorized translator.
  • A declaration of the renunciation of the Cameroonian Nationality drafted in the presence of the diplomatic or consular staff of the Embassy.
  • A pledge by applicant to turn in at Embassy, his or her Cameroonian passport on the effective acquisition of the Russian Passport.

            ISSUING OF BIRTH CERTIFICATES

  1. An application bearing a physical stamp, addressed to the Ambassador of Cameroon in Moscow.
  2. The original of the Declaration of Birth, translated in English or French by an authorized translator
  3. A copy of Passport or any other document that testifies to the Cameroonian nationality of applicant.
  4.  A certified copy of Marriage Certificate translated in English or French by an authorized translator, and/or an acknowledgement  of paternity by the child’s biological father with power of attorney translated in French or English by an authorized translator, and/or a Certificate of Paternity translated in French or English by an authorized translator
  5. Duly filled form, provided by Embassy

 

  1. TRANSCRIPTION OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE
  2. An application bearing a physical stamp, addressed to the Ambassador of Cameroon in Moscow.
  3. The original of the Birth Certificate due for transcription and a copy, translated in English or French by an authorized translator.
  4. A certified copy of the Marriage Certificate
  5. The original of the Certificate of Paternity as well as a copy translated in French or English by an authorized translator
  6. Duly filled form, provided by Embassy

 

  1. ATTESTATION TO THE FREE CHOICE OF CHILDREN’S NAMES
  2. An application bearing a physical stamp, addressed to the Ambassador of Cameroon in Moscow.
  3. The Declaration of Birth, translated in English or French by an authorized translator
  4. A certified copy of Marriage Certificate translated in English or French by an authorized translator
  5. Photocopy of the passports of the child’s parents
  6. A declaration of parenthood of the biological father of the child, written by the mother and translated in English and French by an authorized translator, and / or the Certificate of Paternity translated in French or English by an authorized translator.
