Curriculum Vitae of H.E. Dr. Mahamat Paba Salé

Education

  • H.E. Mahamat Paba Salé was born in 1950 at Kousseri
  • Attended primary school at Koussseri, and in 1963 moved to Garoua for secondary education, from where he graduated with a baccalaureate in 1970.
  •  University studies in Yaoundé, where he obtained a Bachelors Degree in geography in 1973, and a Masters Degree in 1974 at the University of Yaoundé; a High School Teachers’ Certificate (Certificat d’Aptitude au Professorat de l’Enseignement Secondaire - CAPES) in the same university in 1974; and a Doctorate in Tropical Geography and Ecology from the University of Bordeaux III, in France.

Professional carrier

  • Assistant lecturer at the University of Yaoundé.
  • 1976 - 1984: Senior Lecturer at the University of Yaoundé.
  • Researcher at General Delegation for Scientific Research in Cameroon.
  • 1981- Technical Advisor at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
  • 1984  - 1988: Minister Delegate at the Ministry of  Foreign Affairs
  • 1988 – 2008: Ambassador of the Republic of Cameroon in the Kingdom of Morocco.

Since 2008, Ambassador of the Republic of Cameroon in the Russian Federation
